What is StuffUneed?

StuffUneed is both social store and Wishlist. It's a place to discover great stuff you need but never knew existed - Essential items that make life a little bit easier and more enjoyable. Enjoy browsing these innovative products, create a Wishlist of favorites, and share the products you love.


How does StuffUneed work?

It's simple. You can browse our products, shop, add to Wishlist, share with friends, get rewards and much more. Click the “Save” button to add the product to your “Saved” list for future reference. Click the "Buy" button to visit the product page where you can read specifics before completing an order. Click the “Menu” icon from any page to add products to a custom Wishlist or "Share" the product via email and social media channels.  


Do I have to sign up to buy stuff?

You can always browse as a guest; however, opening an account will provide you with additional features and convenience. Signing in will allow you to purchase products, interact with others, browse other users’ Wishlists, and allow them to see yours. You will be able to store multiple billing and shipping addresses, see your order history, order status, tracking numbers, view stored shopping carts and more – And the best part? You only need to enter this information once. To make things even easier, you can sign up with Facebook or an email address. We recommend Facebook login – it will provide you the best browsing experience as it allows you to streamline your browsing experience on StuffUneed.com. We never sell or misuse your information, and we will not share any of your information with third parties except when complying with certain legal requirements, such as those outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Can I add a new product to StuffUneed?

We welcome fresh ideas! You can suggest products by clicking here. If we think it's a fit for the site, we will do our best to add it to our line of products. 

About Wishlists

What is a Wishlist?

A Wishlist is a visual directory of the items you like and save on the site – all collected in one place. These items are ready for future purchase either by you or by someone who can view your Wishlist. You never know, one of your favorite products might arrive on your doorstep!

How do I add a product to my Wishlist?

There are several ways to add products to a Wishlist. The easiest would be to click the “Save” button anywhere on the site. This will save the specific product to a tab called “Saved” that can be accessed via “Your Account” page. Click the “Menu” icon on any product image to open a sub-menu where you can choose “Add to Wishlist”. Clicking it will allow you to add the product to a specific Wishlist of your choosing, be it a new or existing Wishlist. You can manage Wishlists, create new ones and control privacy settings. The same features can be found on the individual product pages.


What does “I Own It” mean?

“I Own It” is another default list where you can save items. You can manually add items you’ve purchased to this tab so your friends don’t buy you gifts you already own J Items can be added from the product list page or from your “Saved” tab.

Where can I see my Wishlists?

You can manage your various Wishlists from “Your Account” page accessible via the drop down menu located at the top right of the screen. Remember, you must be signed in for this feature to be available. This will take you to a page where you can see your Wishlists, adjust privacy settings to share with friends, and more.

About Earning Rewards

When will I earn a reward?

Once you're logged into your StuffUneed.com account simply invite your friends to join and purchase on StuffUneed.com. You will be rewarded with a $5 credit (as a Gift Card) to be used towards your next purchase if your friend signs up and makes a purchase within 60 days.

How do I redeem a reward?

Earning rewards is easy.  Once your friend creates a new account (using the same email address used to invite them. For Facebook friends this is automatic) and makes an eligible purchase within 60 days of signing up, we will then automatically email you a gift card that can be redeemed.  During check out you will have the opportunity to use credits toward your purchase. You can purchase items using a combination of rewards and other payment methods such as a credit or a debit card. Please keep in mind that rewards are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferrable.

Will my rewards expire?

Rewards credit does not expire.

How do I find out my rewards balance?

Once gift card rewards are redeeemed, they are automatically added to your gift card balance. You can view your balance from your “My Account” page accessible via the dropdown menu located at the top right of the screen. 

Be Social

Invite friends through Facebook, Gmail and other social networks. Have your friends follow you and see what you added to your Wishlists, and follow them back to view theirs. Post comments, share products and more.

Upload your action shots

Get creative and send us your best photos with your favorite products purchased on the site. We will post up to 2 of your photos per product on the relevant product page for everyone to enjoy. Periodically we will hold a competition between submissions. If your photo wins, rewards are headed your way!

 Share products with friends and family

 Clicking the “Menu” icon on any product image will open a sub menu where you can select “Share”. Clicking it will allow you to share the product via your selected social platform. Alternatively, the “Share” button can be found on individual product pages below the product title. You must login to be able to share products with others.


Share your opinion and see what the buzz is about

There are two places to share thoughts and opinions:

  1. Comment Thread – On the bottom of every product page you will find a comment thread. Any signed in user can share thoughts or ideas about the product.
  2. Product Reviews – Formal product reviews can be submitted only after purchase of a product by accessing your “Purchases” tab and clicking the “Order Details” link.

How to Order

Simply click the "Add to Cart" button anywhere it is found on the site to add that product to your cart. Access your cart at any time by clicking the cart icon found at the top right of the page header.

All prices shown on our website are in US Dollars. We accept most major credit cards and Paypal. 

Returns, Changes & Cancellations

At StuffUneed.com we try to make the return process as easy and hassle free as possible. You may return a product for refund, store credit, or exchange within 30 days of the order shipment date.

If we shipped you the wrong product, or if it arrived defective or damaged - Just let us know! We will send a replacement or refund you for your purchase, provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc. (where applicable). Please contact us for a return shipping label at support@StuffUneed.com.

If you ordered the wrong item, wrong size, or simply changed your mind - We will refund you for your purchase provided the returned item(s) are received back in their original packaging, along with all accessories, warranty cards, manuals, software, etc. (where applicable), and provided your purchase is in "as-new" condition, and the purchased product was not noted as a clearance, close-out or non-returnable item. When your return is received, you will be issued a refund based on the original payment method or as store credit for the merchandise only. Shipping cost not included. Additional restrictions may apply; please contact us for more information.

Can I buy gift certificates?

Yes. Gift certificates are available in several different amounts. Please note that gift certificates expire five years after the purchase date (may vary by state or country purchased) and are non-refundable. Gift certificates may not be purchased using other gift certificates or reward credits, nor may you apply any discount or promotion code to a gift certificate unless explicitly stated in the offer.

Can I send my order as a gift? 

Absolutely! On the gift card page, enter the recipients email address. You can also include a message to the recipient. For US shipments, our packing slips do not list the prices of the products, so the recipient will not know the purchase amount.
